How to Clean Jewelry

Here is a recipe that anyone can use. It is better than the silver or jewelry cleaner you buy at stores.

To clean your jewelry, boil some water and let it sit a few minutes while you line a dish with crinkled tin foil. Sprinkle a tablespoon of Calgon water softener or baking soda over tin foil. Pour hot water in dish and immediately place your jewelry in the dish. Repeat as necessary. Use caution with pearls or abalone.

I find that the Calgon works best. It is so neat to see tarnished jewellery become clean right before your eyes.
Try it. You won't be disappointed.
